R3EMCOMM maintains a Google Group for general communication.

• The primary purpose of the Google Group is to send broadcast messages, such as announcements or newsletters, to a large group of people at once.

• The Google Group uses a single, shared email address that automatically routes messages to everyone on the list.

R3EMCOMM also maintains a Signal Group for internal communication. 

• The Signal Group is built around end-to-end encryption and uses a private group system where group names, titles, avatars, members, and attributes are end-to-end encrypted.

• There is no server visibility, as the Signal service itself does not store group titles or memberships. Only the people inside a specific group chat can see the group's name and details. 

• Signal also features a closed group format. For standard groups added manually by members, the name is strictly hidden from anyone outside that specific group chat.
