Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Emergency Communication (R3EMCOMM) connects licensed amateur radio operators who are interested in supporting family, friends, and their community through amateur radio when disaster strikes.
Our Google Group ground rules are simple.
Prohibited activities include discussing religion or politics unrelated to amateur radio, sharing off-color or potentially harmful content (e.g., crude or demeaning jokes), advertising of any kind, and selling “stuff” unrelated to Amateur Radio. Please be respectful. We can agree to disagree, but let's do so respectfully.
This is your Google Group, so please don’t feel intimidated about asking simple or basic questions. As we are all still learning, there is no such thing as a ‘dumb’ question.
The R3EMCOMM Google Group is open to any amateur radio operator or interested citizen who wishes to be informed about emergency communication and/or ham radio activities and events.
No membership dues or fees are required to participate in or to be part of this Google Group.
Instructions on unsubscribing from the R3EMCOMM Google Group are included with every post, so shout out if you wish to join the group!
Due to Google's quirks, participants with Gmail addresses can be directly added to the Google Group. If you do not have a Gmail address, you will need to add yourself to the Google Group manually. Check your Spam Filter for missing messages or ask for assistance.
R3EMCOMM aspires to be a knowledgeable and supportive community, always ready to help!
